Does creating a Google Account give me a Gmail account?
It looks as if you've recently created a Google Account for the email address XXXXXXXXXX. Creating a Google Account doesn't automatically give you a Gmail account, which likely explains why you've been unable to log in to Gmail. You can get a Gmail account if you're invited by someone who already has one, or if you have a mobile phone with text messaging capabilities.
